Private practice during lockdown

January 10th, 2021 by linda

The Government have recently changed the rules regarding private practice for driving lessons in England with members of your own household. The latest lockdown suspended all professional driving lessons taking place but originally allowed pupils to continue practice with family in their own car if driving for an essential journey, such as to get shopping or medical reasons. This rule has now been changed and no one, not even with family from your own household is allowed to take driving lessons during this lockdown.

The police will stop and fine anyone out on L Plates during this lockdown so we just wanted to ensure pupils are made aware of this change which can be found on the Gov.uk website Driving lessons and learning to drive – GOV.UK (www.gov.uk)

We hope all our customers are staying safe and following the rules and we cant wait to be back teaching you all again and helping you achieve your full driving licence as soon as is possible. Once we get the go ahead we will be in touch with all our customers to rearrange your lesson appointments.
