Theory tests update

June 6th, 2020 by linda

All theory tests up to the 14th June 2020 have been cancelled and rescheduled to later dates. If you have a theory test booked for any date prior to the 14th June, you will be updated by email with a new theory test date. Do keep up with your theory studying so you are ready to pass this as soon as able to sit it, if not already done so you can sign up to free theory training through our website.

At the moment there is no news regarding practical test dates, but we anticipate that anyone with tests booked for June /July may have these rescheduled, we will update customers individually if and when we hear further news on this.

There is no news yet to state when in-car driver training can resume but we are following the governments daily briefing and being kept updated via various industry associations and will provide further updates when we receive confirmation of restarting lessons.

The DVLA have now reopened the provisional licence application section online, so anyone who has been waiting to apply, renew or update their driving licence can now do so online, as far as we are aware postal applications may not be dealt with just yet.

We hope that you are all keeping well during these unprecedented times and remember the office is still open for course bookings to be made in readiness for when we can restart. Spaces will be offered out to customers in the order they booked, so the sooner you buy your course booking, the sooner you will be able to get started when we are able to do so.

We do anticipate an increase demand for lessons when we return and are already receiving many bookings ready for our return so be prepared should you not book in advance, once we restart lessons new bookings may well be waiting several months to get started. At this moment in time we are only securing places for pre-paid driving courses not weekly PAYG lessons due to demand and will not be able to guarantee any specific dates to start.
